In the theory of Sociology there are three main currents: Functionalism, Structuralism and Structural-functionalism.

Other undercurrents are derivatives such as: Marxism, Positivism, Scientific, and others.

Thus, it starts with the fixed idea that every representation of social role is a unique matrix idea of ​​Sociology, precisely the idea of ​​the functionalist current that builds the concept of categorical or ontological, or epistemological imperatives, or analytical categories based on the ideas that in the social division of social work, each individual plays roles that are necessary for the social system and therefore has social functions that are useful to the harmonious functioning of the social system, so these roles are created by society itself for its benefit, therefore, they are mandatory representations.

Functionalists identify social behaviors as social roles such as public representations of approved behaviors such as: father, son, teacher, authority, wife, wife, young single, young single, husband, motherhood, and so on, all roles are socially codified, tested, and approved.

But what is structuralism?

Unlike functionalism, structuralism does not believe in social roles, it believes in written or unwritten social norms that are mandatory and permanent, that constrain people to conform to the social system that is above all or everyone else through its structures of : laws, and rules, and the form of political, religious, and economic organization.
